Zakaria KhalfaouiZakaria Khalfaoui is an Italian-Moroccan designer, born in 1986 in El Jadida, Morocco. After gaining a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Environmental Design from the University of Camerino in Italy and an exchange period at the École de Design Nantes Atlantique in France, he obtained a master’s degree in Design.
Experiences with companies such as Huawei, De Dietrich, Indesit s.p.a, Hotpoint, ONKYO and Sitland s.p.a, plus design firms such as BETC Design, have given Zakaria a strong ability to design and develop a wide range of products.
He now lives and works both in Italy and France. In his multidisciplinary design studio, he collaborates with several international brands to develop projects in industrial design, furniture, lighting, service design, and creative direction, with a focus on circular design and sustainable development.
Since 2013, he has worked at the École de Design Nantes Atlantique as a lecturer in the Master’s programme.
